Burn speed 4x

When I select a burn speed of 4x Real player always burns at 10x, why?

  Where are you selecting 4x speed? Can you please send me the following information?

  • Where are you setting the speed as 4x? (A screenshot would be helpful)
  • What is the model number of your DVD drive?

  Hi,

  Thanks for your speedy reply. I am using a Toshiba laptop the DVD information is TSST corp CDDVDW SU-208GB (I hope that is the information you need.

  I selected 4x in two different places, see attached screenshots.  The first one in settings and the second one immediately before I burn the CD's.

  We looked at the specs of this DVD driver and found this article.

  You have set the right parameters in RealPlayer but you will have to contact Samsung to find out why it won't burn in 4x speed. We will not know much about hardware products.
