  wait a sec. this takes me to the paid feature. am i to understand that you have to sign up for premium in order to download videos from YouTube? If so how come I'm able to download from other sites?

  You were wanting to upgrade to a paid version and that is why we sent you the link to upgrade. You don't have to have a paid version to download videos. You can continue to use the free version.

  If you are having difficulties downloading videos, please follow these steps.
   
  1. Attempt to download any video of your choice (You will still have the same error).
  2. Simply restart your computer after this.
  3. Upon restarting your computer, the Downloader will be updated in the backend and your downloads should start working.
   
  If the issue still persists, please let us know.
