CANNOT DOWNLOAD VIDEOS FROM YOUTUBE IT WORKED YESTERDAY BUT NOT TODAY

 have tried to download video (mp4) from different web sites like CNN and I still cannot download any videos.  You need to bump this up to advanced technical support to resolve this issue.  I want to remind you that I was downloading all videos without any problems for the past couple of months before  Feb 2023.  Something happened/changed after February 24 to prevent the videos from downloading in the usual way from youtube using Real Player.  If this issue is not resolved I may be forced to cancel/discontinue the renewal of my Real Player Plus annual subscription.  Why would I want to pay 39.95/year for a service that doesn't work?

  Can you please let us know the following information:

  Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
  Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.

  Please provide us with the version number you see there.

  Please follow these additional steps to resolve your issue.
   

  1. Open a Windows folder
  2. Go to C:\ProgramData\Real\RealUpgrade
  3. Delete all the files in this folder (Caution: Please make sure you are deleting these files correctly and not any other files in a different folder)
  4. Restart PC.
  5. Follow the 3 steps we originally provided again.
  6. Restart PC once more. (This should update the videodl)

  Hello guys: I haven't had a problem for a few years now, until today. I have the fully updated version of RealPlayer 24 and all of a sudden I cannot download videos or audio files from YouTube. I could yesterday. I restarted my computer and went to a song that I've downloaded without any trouble and the "Real Player cannot download videos from ths page" pops up. The old blue icon is at the top of my page but there is no orange icon that drops down. This has just occurred. The only thing I have not done is uninstall RP and then re-install it.

  I can't download any YouTube videos anymore, either.  I could yesterday, but today, I can't.  Every time I try, this error message comes up: "Real Player cannot download videos on this page."  Thing is, it can't download videos on any YouTube page!
