File sample frequency for burning
I have *.wav files saved at 96000 Hz, 24 bit. and can't burn them with RP. What sample rate/bit depth is the max that RP can use and produce a CD that will play on any "regular" CD player?

No, you cannot burn 96 kHz, 24-bit high-resolution audio files directly to a standard audio CD with RealPlayer or any other software. Standard audio CDs follow the Red Book CD standard, which only supports audio at:
- 44.1 kHz (44,100 Hz) sampling rate
- 16-bit depth
If you want to retain the high-resolution audio quality, you could burn the files as data to a DVD or Blu-ray, which supports higher resolution audio, or store them on digital media like USB drives for playback on compatible devices.
