DOWNLOADER WORKS ON YOU TUBE IF YOU COPY & PASTE. (30 April 2019)

I am still able to download You Tube videos using Real Player. I still get the 'No video to download on this page' message in the little blue drop down box, but if you left click to the right of the address or URL of the video you want (at the top of the page) so the address turns blue ,and then right click and select COPY, then click on your little blue downloader box to open it, and then right click on the bottom of the drop down box (where it says ' Or enter a video link to download') and select PASTE, then left click on the little downward arrow on the right of what you just pasted and your video should download.

If you struggle to catch the little drop down box before it goes away, then if you open Real Player and left click on Real player logo which is top left, You will get a drop down selection, select 'Download a video' This will open the normal rectangular Downloader box, then copy and paste (as above) into the 'Download a video from a web link' box  on the left and then click on the little downward arrow.

Hope this helps everyone, It works for me.

  Philip,

  It looks like if you have followed our instructions and still doesn't work for you, it is most probably a cache issue. Please delete all your files within your temp folder. You can find your temp folder here:

  C:\Users\<your PC name>\AppData\Local\Temp

  Then follow our instructions that we sent earlier.

  Philip Lansdown, thanks for that tip. I haven't tried yet to copy and paste the URL because I've never had to do it before. I run Windows 10, not sure if that suddenly became a factor in the non operational status of Realplayer. Thanks Realplayer, I'll review your email contact. I haven't seen it yet. I will try the tip from Philip Lansdown, and I appreciate the feedback from everyone who replied, including Realplayer. Worst case, I can still view videos from YouTube just not download them. While on the subject, before the crash and burn of general video content, did anyone notice that it became impossible to download music content? I used to download music videos but that ended a long time before all the videos were blocked. Thanks! :)
