is there an easy way of transferring files from my media to playlist

  If you are trying to add music files to a playlist, here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to Music tab of your My Media in RealPlayer.
  2. Select the music file or album and click "Add to Playlist" that shows just above the play controls.

  For videos and music together, you can go directly to Playlists from the left pane. Create a playlist or open your existing playlist, right click and choose "Add Clips". Here you can choose what media files you want to add.
