Realplayer and its upgrades are not working right.

I have two computers. One says it can't find a recorder when I try to record something, But Window Media records.  Number 2 computer when I try record it tell me to insert a disk,but when I put in a disk it don't take it. I uninstall and reinstall RealPlayer it works for a while. I have did this a lot of times.
