Losing connection

My iPad keeps losing connection to my Mac when using RealTimes. This has been going on for months now. Sometimes it loses connection after an hour or so and sometimes it happens after about ten minutes. It will not reconnect until the next day! Why is this and what can be done about it?

  We have stopped supporting the Mac version and there will be no more development work. Apologize for the inconvenience.
