Real Player not working

Running windows 10 and chrome, new desk top. Real Player not playing any videos, downloaded and saved videos in various formats, MP4, rmhd etc. 

Have un installed and re installed twice, no joy. Turned off the firewall and VPN programs, still nothing. Is there a repair or diagnostic program I can run to try and rectify this problem?

  It is possible you are missing codecs to playback files.

  Installing the K-Lite codec pack often helps to fix issues related to playback. You can install it from the link below:

  http://www.codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_mega.htm

  After installing the codec, restart your computer and try playing the videos again.

  If the issue persists, please let me know if you see any errors when playing any video file.
