Device error

hi

i am now getting a new problem when the disc is being burnt it now comes up with the message  DEVICE ERROR COMMAND TIMEOUT  DEVICE MAY HAVE BEEN REMOVED OR RESET ??????

which i have done none of these things

is this another new problem ?

How is it fixed, looked at the message did not seem to apply to me

  This error message usually means something wrong with the DVD drive. Can you please ensure your DVD drivers are updated?
