What is ogg ?

Got a audio file sent to my whatsapps acct., dowloaded it to MacBook Pro and clicked on it to play and would not. Said I needed ogg, what is that ?

I have updated to version 12.0.0 (1725) and says Real Player software is up to date.

I am running Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6 which is 64 bit, I have gotten windows pop up in Real Player that say I only have 32 bit version of Real Player and could have future issues. How do I find and download the 64 bit version of Real Player as that might be my problem. Have not been able to do that.

  First off, we don't offer RealPlayer for Mac anymore. We have stopped supporting the Mac version of RealPlayer. We only offer RealPlayer for Windows.

  You can use VLC or another program to play OGG files.
