Free Version: Can't download video because your f'ing ads keep popping up and the video will not download
Can't download video because your f'ing ads keep popping up and the video will not download. I use the free version because that suits my needs. I do not want to upgrade. Why does the ad keep popping up and the downloader won't download the video - which it notified me was available from the popup at the top of my Microsoft Edge browser. I just want to download this video. Why won't it download just because you have to keep throwing that gd ad at me over and over and over without downloading free content that the program is capable of downloading!
I come here to seek help, and all I see are complaints about the program/service after paying for an upgrade. This happens constantly and it is really p'ing me off! Alternatives to Realplayer are looking better and better.

Can you please let us know the following information:
1. Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
2. Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.Please provide us with the version number you see there.
Could you also provide us with a sample URL that you are trying to download?

However, this has happened quite often over the past two or three years, but not this bad! I'm stuck in a damn loop with it. Ridiculous!

We are able to download this particular video without any issues. Do you have any firewall installed? Have you tried reinstalling RealPlayer?
