Video and music shows in library but will not play. Screen says general error, contact customer services

Video and music previously recorded in library will not play.  PC has previously not been used in over a year.   Realplayer worked very well .  Since recently started using PC I have downloaded one video which shows in my library but will not start.

   I have recently payed £22.99 to upgrade. If the problems I  am experiencing cannot be remedied,  I would ask for a refund. Thankyou.
