add converts to itunes library

hello, i click on preferences and it will not let me click the box that says add converted files to itunes library when i used to all the time. only lets me click add to my realplayer library which i do not want to do.

  It most likely means something is wrong with your iTunes. Please reinstall iTunes. Let us know if the issue persists.

  "Re-install iTunes"? What a lazy, dumb response, RN Support.

  The Converter "save to library" option works fine in Express 22. Minutes later, install Express 24, "save to library" shows iTunes grayed out. Meanwhile iTunes hasn't changed. Simply put, saving to the iTunes library works in 22, is no longer available in 24. Please fix it.
