Should add, I downloaded YTD trial version and it allows downloads so its not the website or my PC, it seems to be the software.
I am having 2 issues I need help with:
Issue 1: When trying to sign in via the application I get a message saying Currently not connected to RealTime, To reset your connection, please restart your computer, I have restarted several times over two weeks and still getting the same error.
Issue 2: Download video or Download playlist, no matter how many different videos I try it keeps telling me there are no videos yet I can watch them on my browser so clearly they are there. I have tried in Chrome, Edge and Opera and same issue.
I am running Windows 10, all programs and OS is up-to-date, I was able to download about a month ago when it just stopped working. Ever since it has only worked twice then stops again. I have tried clearing cashe, reinstalling, updating all software, but nothing.
Any advice that my help is welcome.

Regarding your inability to sign in, please "over-install" RealPlayer by going to www.real.com. Over-install simply means installing RealPlayer over the existing RealPlayer. When you go through the installation process, you will be prompted that RealPlayer is already installed, simply proceed with the installation when prompted.
Regarding your downloads, can you please download any video from a non YouTube website and let us know if you are able to download?
Example - www.vimeo.com
If you are able to download from a non YouTube website but not from YouTube, it means that they are blocking downloads and the issue is not the Downloader.
Please confirm anyway. It would help if you can send a sample URL of the video you are not able to download.
Please note: RealDownloader is compatible with Chrome,Firefox, Edge and Internet Explorer browsers only.
Right I have re-installed Real Player, I have noticed the icon in my system tray is no longer grey and now shows blue and white.
I am now able to download from other sites but still not YouTube.
Its odd as some video playlists will download like:
but other videos/playlist don't work, like:
Technology, as you know it is constantly and ever changing for the better.
That being said, YouTube and other websites are also constantly making changes to their websites by introducing newer technologies. Every time they make such changes and introduce newer technologies, it breaks our RealDownloader.
Our engineers have always been able to resolve these issues and as always, we have resolved the current downloader issue.
To resolve the downloader issue, please restart your computer and try again. If it still fails, can you please follow these steps and try again?
1. Open Internet Options from the search window.
2. Under General Tab, click Delete in Browsing History and follow prompts.
3. Close Internet Options.
Once you are done resetting your Internet Options, please follow these steps:
1. Using Chrome, Firefox or Edge, go to YouTube.com and play any video and click the Downloader button. (This action will still show "Unable to download" message)
2. Close all Windows
3. Restart your PC
Now try your video. If the issue persists, please let us know.
