Realdownloader not working after installing Realplayer 25

This is so frustrating. RealDownloader stopped working, so I upgraded to RealPlayer 25. It is still not working. I have to keep restarting RealDownloader, and the drop-down tab works, but when I click it, it disappears. I have tried all the suggestions on how to solve the problem, but nothing works. I can't understand how there could be so many glitches in your software. I need to fix this, and  I need you to tell me how to do it, please.

  I am having the same issues, haven't been able to download for three or four days. When it did work, I as well would have to back out and restart. Have they said anything?

  looking for alternative to real player support is non exsistent
