Recent email about plan changes from February 28th
I received an email about changes to RealPlayer cloud as from February 28th. I have RealPlayer Cloud Plus - version 17.0.15.10. It this version to be discontinued, or does it only apply to the free version?
Also, if the version I have is to be discontinued, does its replacement allow you to download videos in Firefox?
The present situation is that this is not possible, and I am forced to switch to the less secure Internet Explorer every time I need to use your product. Admittedly, up to now I have continued to do this as old habits die hard, and I have used Realplayer for a long time and am well used to it.
However if my version of the product is now being discontinued, presumably you can see that there is little incentive for me to upgrade to your latest product if Firefox is my default browser? There are other better products out there for this purpose. Also, I don't need any new features, just basic downloads from the internet onto a laptop. I don't use tablets, mobile phones etc. for this purpose, and I don't need cloud storage.
So, is my product being discontinued?
And if so, what incentive is there (in your opinion) for me to pay to download your new version?
