Removing duplicates

I click on remove duplicates and it takes about 24 hours to process  2085 videos. I have so many because RP counts my "live" iPhone photos as videos. I can't find how to stop that OR how to stop RP from cataloging my CDs when I add then to my iTunes library.

I asked this previously and you answered by saying you had sent me an email and closed the post. FIRST, I think the solution to this could help others and second, I never got an email from you about this.

  TO ADD: After it processes those videos the program shuts down.
