Several years ago I upgraded to real player plus and now am not able to access it ..... it only wants me to upgrade again ... I thought it was a one time fee.

  Please note that, older versions are not available in our system, and we are no longer supporting RealPlayer 16 and any version before that.

  As RealNetworks makes new products available to customers, it's not possible for us to continue supporting older products.

  We are now offering RealPlayer 18/RealTimes. This is the latest version of RealPlayer with many additional features. To access the Premium features of RealPlayer 18 will require a new purchase, because this is a new product.

  Could someone tell me if the fee to get the new Real Player Plus should be paid just once, or yearly?

  We have 2 products. 

  RealPlayer v.18 - This is a one time fee for the life of this product (Stand alone version)

  RealTimes Premium - This is a subscription plan that is available for Monthly or Yearly billing. This is a recurring charge. You get 25GB of Cloud storage along with RealPlayer Plus.
