I just purchased a one-time update for my RealPlayer in order to watch DVDs on my computer.
I am continually getting an error message whenever I open RealPlayer and I try to download the “additional components” to complete my activation; I have tried several times, including restarting my computer. The message is “CERT_AUTH_FAILED”: the software update ‘PlayBack’ could not be verified. The clock on my PC is correctly set (the suggested fix for the problem), so I see no reason why this should be happening.
Any assistance in remedying this issue would be appreciated.
