Download failure with vk.com

up until recently it was easy to download videos from vk.com. then vids longer than 25 minutes couldn't be downloaded anymore. since 2 to 3 months realdownlaoder can't find the vids on that site anymore.

anyone any ideas on how to solve, or an explanation why it doesn't work anymore?

  You will need to contact vk.com if they made any changes to their end. Can you please try downloading a video from YouTube and let us know if you are able to download?

  Alternately, you could try using Internet Explorer to see if you are able to download videos from vk.com.
