uninstalled then reinstalled - and it still won't download the video it finds and promises to do
... this is on one computer that I did allow the "update" to happen.... have tried the uninstall/reinstall three times now, and again is still doesn't go through with the promised download of videos it identifies ---- on another computer which I didn't do any "update" on - it is working well! SO PLEASE, how can we get this fixed???? That "update" I suspect is what caused this problem (still so frustrating and I for one really would appreciate deeply getting it to go right again!!) From your description, it looks like something (firewall program or Windows component) on this particular PC is blocking your downloader to work properly.
Can you please let us know the following information:
1. Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
2. Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.Please provide us with the version number you see there.
Could you also provide us with a sample URL that you are trying to download and the web browser you are using?
