have the same problem with some .flv files downloaded with previous versions of realplayer.  tried uninstall and reinstall.  did not work.  realplayer has not provided a fix and apparently they don...

yes, some of my .flv files appear the same way.  They were downloaded with previous versions of realplayer.  realplayer has offered no fix.

The same happened to me for .flv files that were previously downloaded.  they played fine with the old version, but with the new version have lost most of my library

I have the same problem.  Realplayer said months ago they were working on it - but obviously they have just blown us off.  they wanted to take control of my computer to reinstall the old version.  ...
