Real Player not working
Had issue with nothing happening when pressing 'download ....' button. Told to reinstall - followed intrctions but Real P{layer is not working at all now - won't even load.

Please follow these steps.
1. Go to Control Panel and uninstall RealPlayer.
2. Go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed and download and run the installer.
3. Once the Fixit program opens, click Next.
4. Select Uninstalling.
5. You will see a list of programs installed. Scroll down and look for "Video Downloader". Select that and click Next and click on "Yes, try uninstall". This will remove the application.
6. Run the Fixit program once again. (You will need to run this program a few times)
7. Follow steps 4 and remove the following programs (in the said order)
a. RealUpdgrade 1.1
b. RealDownloader
c. RealDownloader
Note: You have to run Fixit each time you want to uninstall these applications.
8. Delete Real & RealNetworks folders from
a. C:\Program Files (x86)
b. C:\Programdata
c. C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming
d. C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\LocalOnce you have uninstalled all of them and deleted the folders, restart your computer. Download RealPlayer from www.real.com. Ideally, this should install properly.

I ONCE HAD REALPLAYER. SINCE 2011, TO BE EXACT. NOW IT HAS STPPOED WORKING. I WAS ALSO TOLD TO UNINSTALL/REINSTALL BUT HAVE HAD NO LUCK. I DOWNLOADED REALPLAYER 10 TIMES (NO EXAGGERATION) ON CHROME & 3 TIMES ON EDGE. EACH & EVERYTIME WHEN IT SAYS, "CONGRATULATIONS, LET'S START" NOTHING HAPPENS. I REALLY WISH I COULD SPEAK WITH A HUMAN BEING (IF THERE IS ONE) TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

@ KEITH, you are probably as irritated as I am with Realplayer. if you come to a solution, it would be nice to get advice from A REAL PERSON!

There are no "real people" running this company -- only a bunch of "robots." I see that there is no way to talk to a real live person for technical support for any problem -- there use to be because I can remember talking to a live person many years ago. The least they could do is enable a person to send an email about a problem (they - that is anyone who knows how to solve problems - don't even read the "community" items to even know what is going on). A product WITHOUT SUPPORT is NO PRODUCT AT ALL. I also am having a problem with the RealPlayer that freezes when trying to play a video. I have fully uninstalled it and done a clean re-installation. It does work normally on 2 of my other Windows 10 computers. Whatever happened to "civilization"?
