    With regards to the inability to download videos, we were able to identify the root cause and our engineering team was able to resolve it. To be able to download videos again, please follow these steps.

    1. Attempt to download any video of your choice (You will still have the same error).
    2. Simply restart your computer.
    3. Upon restarting your computer, the Downloader will be updated in the backend and your downloads should start working.
     
    If the issue still persists, please let us know.

    this is happening to me at this point and time , this is truly unacceptable!!!!! we've paid for the subscription therefor we should not have to encounter

    this type of disruption without notification , I'm experiencing not being able to download anything from you-tube.this is truly unacceptable without be notified of any problems that my might encounter , Please let me know the problem ASPA

    You have posted this message on a very old forum post. There are no known issues regarding the inability to download videos.

    Can you please let us know the following information:

    Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Real\RealPlayer.
    Right click on videodl and click Properties and then the Details tab.

    Please provide us with the version number you see there.

    Could you also provide us with a sample URL that you are unable to download and the web browser you are using? Lastly, what version of RealPlayer and Windows have you installed?

    I am unable to download any videos. This is truly unacceptable. When you have paid your money and cannot utilize the software the way that it was intended to be used. Can someone please look into this issue for me and this problem?

    I bought a real player 22 license, express downloader which suits me perfectly.
    But I accepted the real player 24 update and my License disappeared.
    I am returning to the free version 24 limited, in download speed and number of simultaneous downloads .

    Please tell me how to get a working version 22.

    I am surprised not to find a license number on my personal account on your site.
    License number that I can introduce into your software as is done elsewhere.

    Confirm that my purchase only covers version 22 and not subsequent updates.

    We see that you purchased RealPlayer Downloader Express 22. If you installed RealPlayer 24, you will need to upgrade to activate Downloader Express features in RealPlayer 24 as this is a different product with additional new features. 

    If you don't want to upgrade, you will need to uninstall RealPlayer 24 and install RealPlayer 22. You can install RealPlayer 22 by clicking this link.

    You purchased RealPlayer 22 Plus. We currently are offering RealPlayer 24. If you don't want to upgrade, you will need to uninstall RealPlayer 24 and install RealPlayer 22. You can install RealPlayer 22 by clicking this link.

    Once you have installed RealPlayer 22, you will need to sign into it to activate your Plus features. If you are still unable to download videos, could you please provide us with a sample URL that you are unable to download and the web browser you are using? Also, what error do you get when you download a video.

    I am not realplayer support. I had a similar issue as you .However here is what I understood.

    You can only use the version your bought.If you update to another version you have to pay again the additionnal features.

    Once you installed the version you are the owner, you need to login so as to validate your installed software.

    For me I bought 22 version unfortunately I let to upgrade to version 24. Nothing working anymore and I was asked to pay again.

    With RN support advise (see hereabove) I remove 24 version and installed 22. At the very beginning nothing working until I noticed I have to login, then everything is fine.
