Can Not use trimmer

I can't drag 4.46 MB MP4 file into RealPlayer Trimmer, "Drag Files to Edit Here."  It says "File Parsing Error  This file is not supported by the RealPlayer Trimmer application."  

What should I do?

  It is possible this particular file has some codecs built into it that are not compatible with RealPlayer. The first step would be to convert it to MP4 using RealConverter. If this works, then you can trim. If you are unable to convert using RealPlayer, it certainly means that the file has codecs that are incompatible with RealPlayer.
