Real Player 16 and 15 Trimmer will not edit flv file type
A couple years ago (early in 2016), I had to get a new hard drive in my desktop computer. I had to reinstall Windows 7 Pro-64 bit, and all my apps. When I reinstalled Real Player (Free version), the Trimmer would no longer edit .flv files. It still edits mp4 and mp3 (and maybe other types I haven't tried). RP Trimmer versions 16 and 15 used to edit .flv files but no longer. Not on my laptop Windows 8.1 either. RP 16 will play .flv and the other file types I mentioned. The Trimmer will open when I'm playing .flv files, but .flv types will not load into the Trimmer. These are files resident on my computer and drives, not online files nor files I'm downloading via Real Player. I've uninstalled RP and reinstalled, both 16 and 15 (one at a time). Still no success. Can anyone explain to me why? Thanks.

We don't have any issues with the Trimmer feature specifically for .FLV files. Would you be able to send us a sample .FLV file so we can test it in-house?
To send us a file up to 1 GB in size, please follow these instructions:
1. Go to https://tobor2.prognet.com/cgi-bin/incoming.cgi
2. You will see instructions for attaching the file. Choose the file you want to send us.
3. In the "to" section, enter "gsharma".
4. In the box below, enter your email address and/or ticket number, along with a brief note about the issue (just a sentence is fine).
5. Click Send.We will review the file(s). If for some reason we have difficulty receiving the file, we will let you know.
