wma files

I have around 2000 audio files in wma format, I converted these from vinyl albums to wma. they all have wma file extension. I am using real player cloud.

if I click one of these files it does not play, and the file changes to real audio format, but still does not play. but these same files will play fine in vlc media player or windows media player or media monkey.

any ideas as to the reason please.

  The simplest way is to convert them all to .MP4 format. Even though RealPlayer plays .WMA files, it depends on what codecs are within the file container. It is quite possible that the file container has a codec that is not compatible with RealPlayer.
