Loss of photos

After installing the most recent update and clicked on the open Real Player button. It activated the product, and everything was as it should be. I signed out and then signed back in only to find that my installed photos from my phone were gone and all I had was the wallpaper photos from Microsoft. I do not have Windows 10. I have Windows 8.1 installed. Could this be why the update lost my photos?

  Are you missing the photos that are stored on your phone? If so, can you please make sure you are signed into RealPlayer (PC) and the RealTimes app (phone) with the same email address.
