This is because another program is conflicting with RealPlayer. Please do the following and provide us with the result.

    1. Click Run

    2. Type CMD and hit Enter

    3. Type SET and hit Enter

    4. Copy the entire content on your black window and paste it here.

Hello.  Thanks for the response.  I assume you're from Real tech support?

    I followed your instructions:  1: Run.  2.  CMD + Enter,  3. SET + Enter.

Here is the entire content from the black window.  I hope you can make sense of it, and tell me how to address the runtime error I now get when I try to play videos from my RealPlayer library.

Again, here is the content from the black window after the steps you suggested:

Excellent! Thank you for sending the information. This is happening due to a software named "AOMEI Data backup".

To resolve your issue please follow these instructions.

    1. Open a Windows folder

    2. Right click on This PC and click Properties

    3. Click Advanced system settings

    4. Under System variables, click (highlight) Path and click Edit

    5. Select (highlight) C:\Program Files (x86)\AOMEI Backupper and click Delete

    6. Click OK on all Windows open and restart PC

    7. Play your videos now should not prompt the R6034 error any more

We have informed our product team of this conflict. They will investigate it and if any issues found, will have this resolved in a future version.

If you are not comfortable doing this, you may have to contact AOMEI support.

Hi.  Thanks for the reply, and for solving the mystery!  Just one concern about your reply.   AOMEI is imaging software that I use to backup an image of my entire computer to an external drive.  Have you never heard of it?  Or something like Acronis True Image?

Anyways, If I take step number 5:

Select (highlight) C:\Program Files (x86)\AOMEI Backupper and click Delete

Will this delete the whole application or something?  Please clarify so that I know what to expect.

I just want to know if I'll be deleting the portion of the program that is causing the issue, or if I will be deleting the whole program

We noticed this on another customer's computer and deleting this didn't hamper any program. In fact, we have not heard back from that customer that their AOMEI stopped working.

Our product team is investigating to see why another program would conflict with our software.
