Unable to download HD videos with Realplayerplus
I had RP Plus but I switched to the standard version and I lost the capability of downloading HD videos.
Today I decided to move back to Realplayer Plus in order to regain the capability of downloading videos in HD. I have upgraded and paid for the upgrade. When I logged in, my name (JORGE) appears followed by a star, which I understand means that my upgrade to RP+ was successful. However, when I tried to download videos in HD quality, they are still being downloaded in Standard Definition. Please assist.

Can you please provide the URL of the video you are trying to download? If you see a star before your name in means that Plus has been installed. Are you selecting the higher version in the Downloader?

I am currently traveling and I have no access to my PC so I cannot provide you the requested URL but I can confirm you that yesterday I a) downgraded my expired plus account to standard, then I found the problem with the quality so b) I upgraded my account to plus again by buying the upgrade. After that:
1) the star appears next to my name
2) When I watched a video that I downloaded under the recently purchased RP+ the quality of the downloaded version was way inferior to the quality of the source (Youtube). Moreover, I had a video that I downloaded previously (with my old RP+) which was in HD and weighed 34 MB. I downloaded it again with my new RP+ and the quality was inferior and the file weighed only 7.8 MB. As soon as I return home from my trip I will uninstall and reinstall RealPlayer. If the problem persist I will revert to you.
