Can't play downloads

I have paid $24.99USD to access realplayer as the free version would freeze up and not play my downloads. It is still not playing, my mother wanted to upgrade but now that I am having problems even after I paid she will not, that is what she was worried about. If this is how it is going to be I want my money back. As it does not play anything and it freezes. I have installed and installed it too many times but it still does not work.

  Please follow these steps to resolve your issue.

  1. Open RealPlayer.
  2. Click the RealPlayer logo, then Preferences. 
  3. In the Category pane, select Hardware.

  - Under Video Card Compatibility, move the slider bar Most reliable.
  - Click OK twice to save the changes.
  - Close out of RealPlayer, restart it, and sign back in.
  - If this does not work, set Video Card Compatibility back to its default.

  If the issue persists, please let us know.
