Realplayer freezes Windows 10

If I try to play an mp4 file Realplayer just completely freezes Windows and I have to shut the computer down by pressing the power button and restart. The mp4 files will play ok using windows 'Film & TV' player so not corrupt files. Is there a setting I should look at? I am using 64 Bit version of Windows 10 and just recently re-installed Windows.

  Please follow these steps to resolve your issue.

  1. Open RealPlayer.
  2. Click the RealPlayer logo, then Preferences. 
  3. In the Category pane, select Hardware.

  - Under Video Card Compatibility, move the slider bar Most reliable.
  - Click OK twice to save the changes.
  - Close out of RealPlayer, restart RealPlayer.

  Realplayer no longer installs and functions correctly since the 20/20 was introduced. Please give partial refund of $30.00 because 20/20 was not what I purchased and do not collect$4.99 monthly cloud charge never was charged this previously. I've been a loyal customer for many years...but this 20/20 doesn't work on my machine.
