cant turn auto updates off

I cant get to where it directs me to turn auto updates off

RealPlayer 25 will not work as it wont download videos from anywhere

I went back to V24 and all is good, but it continuously wants to auto update back to V25

There is info online about where to go in Realplayer but cannot get that path on my version it is stated, go to .....

Preferences: Automatic Services > AutoUpdate 

BUT there is no Automatic services under Preferences to select

Any thoughts anyone please:)

  I've been dealing with this exact same headache for weeks now. RealPlayer 25 is absolutely useless for downloading videos, and that forced auto-update from V24 is driving me crazy. I've searched everywhere in the settings and you're right - that "Automatic Services" option just doesn't exist anymore no matter where you look.

  Can you please confirm if you are able to download from a non-YouTube website such as Dailymotion?
   
  Please confirm if you are able to download any video from this website.

  If you are able to download from a non-YouTube website, then most probably you are being blocked by YouTube. Try connecting your computer to your Phone's hotspot and try to download a YouTube video. If you are able to download after connecting to your hotspot, then YouTube is certainly blocking you from downloading videos through your Internet Service Provider. In that case, you could call them and ask them to provide you with a new IP address.
