Downloading Videos From Facebook
Since this week I have been unable to download videos from Facebook. Can you download them from your end?.

If a Facebook video is set to "Public", you can download those videos. If they are set to be "Private", you won't be able to download these videos. This is a setting users who upload the video has access to. If you can share the complete link of that particular Facebook video, we could give it a try. All of this said, there are no issues with downloading Facebook videos that are set to "Public".

The problem is now mostly solved but here is an example of a video that won't download:

Is it set to private or Public?.

We will not know if a video is set a private or public. These controls are based on the uploader and the uploader has the ability to set the videos to private or public. In this case, it is a BBC video. You will need to contact BBC to find out.
Found this on Facebook's help page.
How can I change who can see my video?
You can change who can see your posts at any time. To do this, look for the date/time stamp on your shared video directly on your Facebook timeline. Right next to that will be your sharing options.
If it's public, you'll see a mini globe. If you have it shared with friends only, you'll see a silhouette of two people. Click the arrow next to the icon to change who can see that specific video.
