Real Player Premium Suddenly stops mid-music and shuts down!

Having just bought Real Player Premium, and having had no issues with the free version, I am faced with the player shutting down suddenly and disappearing from the screen and task bar. I have downloaded the most recent version again which contained a number of up dates. 

I am on a PC running Windows 11. perhaps there is a conflict with another program but that is above my pay grade. Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

  Does this happen only during a particular song or does it happen random? If it happens on 1 or just a few, it probably means that those files are corrupted. Here is what you could do as an alternate to see the behavior.

  • Notice which audio file shuts down RealPlayer.
  • Go back to RealPlayer's library and right click on this particular song and choose Locate file.
  • The above step will open the folder where the file is stored.
  • Close RealPlayer.
  • Go to the folder and right click the music file and choose to open with RealPlayer.

  Observe and provide the results.
