Subtitle support in downloaded .wtv files?

I use subtitles often when I download programs that have British accents.  I know that subtitle support is respected by MCE but I gather not in Real Player yet.  I asked once long ago.  Is this still the case?

  RealPlayer doesn't support subtitles yet. This feature is in the pipeline for a future release. No ETA at this time.
