RealPlayer Won't Install in Windows 10
I've had and used both the player and downloader for over a year but it suddenly disappeared after one of those dreaded auto-updates MS 10 shoves down our throats.
So I reinstalled it and everything went as expected but when I clicked the final button to "Open Real Player", nothing happened. No icon on desktop, not showing as an installed program anywhere, nothing! I've tried all the usual fixes (stopping all protection, running programs, open browsers, background items, etc.). One Google post said to run regedit and remove anything referring to Real, restart and then download fresh but that didn't work either.
So far, 6 unsuccessful attempts and I'm stumped.
I would contact RealTimes for tech support, but I can't find an address or phone number anywhere. I would even pay for Plus, but I believe if the free version won't install, it won't either so I'm stuck.
Anyone have any ideas? I really want Real back!

Hello,
1 - First, go to:
http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall and install and run the troubleshooter, and remove all Real and RealDownloader entries from the list.
2 - Then, install RealPlayer in Safe mode by following these instructions: https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/231760587
Note: For more information on how to boot up your PC in Safe Mode, please consult the article below:

I had exactly same problem. I found this problem was caused by anti-virus software installed in the PC. After Exit/stop the anti-virus software, and installed Realplayer again, the Realplayer can start then. Note: after Realplayer is installed, remember to re-activate the anti-virus software to protect your PC.
