First time posting here but longtime RealPlayer user and absolutely love this application.

There is an ongoing debate regarding whether the RealPlayer software converts video files into audio files or whether it extracts the audio from the video.

I have always maintained that it converts because of material such as this on your website.

Could someone clarify this for us with perhaps some technical detail such as if FFmpeg is used in the conversion or extraction process?
