realplayer download does not install

After several attempts to download Real player it does not install to programs & features. I have made a number of searches to correct this but unable to.

  Purchased RealPlayer, downloaded, but cannot play, It says currently AutoUpdate has no plug-in available to play selection.

  In order to troubleshoot this issue effectively, I will need you to provide the following information:

  • What is the file format?
  • From which website did you download it?
  • Is this happening to all videos just with a particular one?
  • What web browser do you use, and which version? (See https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/207275617)
  • What version of RealTimes or RealPlayer is installed? (See https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/204039513)
  • What is the operating system of your computer (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10)?
  • Do you have any security software installed (Norton, McAfee, AVG, etc.)?
