Real Player 16 won't open once again after use

I'm still on XP.  My RP16 won't function well recently.  After downloading and converting, I found out I cannot open RP again, I have to restart my computer for it to convert videos again.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled again, but still the same.  I have quite a number of videos to convert, and I can't keep on restarting my computer for it to function again.  What's wrong?  HELP.

  To resolve this issue, try performing a clean uninstall and reinstall by following this article: https://customer.real.com/hc/en-us/articles/204040013 

  Note: Make sure you delete the RealPlayer folders as mentioned in the article, before reinstalling RealPlayer.

  Thanks for reply.  I did as instructed and did a clean uninstall/reinstall, but still the same problem.  Before converting videos in RP16, there's this prompt that says Script Error - would you like to continue? and the URL there says "real.com".  How will it go away?

  One more thing, when I restart/shut down the computer, there's always this message box saying End Program for realplayer.exe before it shuts down.  Always.  What is wrong with Real Player?  I'm starting to decide if I'll change my player/converter.
