Update and downloads
Still having problems getting Downloads to work and have now uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times. I have also noticed that the two updates won't apply see error message and wonder if there is any connection between the two issues? Any one had similar?

I asked for help with same issue days ago and no response from real. I also uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Nothing helps. I thought by buying all the updates, etc... that I would get professional help with stuff like this but you can not get hold of a customer support representative. Starting to think about looking for something else with support team.

Theresa - I also found that the Uninstall doesn't really do a deep clean with dozens, if not hundreds of remaining entries when looking through Regedit. Even some basic files left in Program Files. I went through Regedit looking for every entry for Realplayer and Realdownloader and deleting them. Still had no effect. I have a feeling there is a corrupt entry somewhere which makes Downloader think it is busy hence the scrolling in the URL box and the Date / Time error when trying to apply updates. It would be nice to try rolling back to an older edition if they were still available. I have been trying alternatives and it's a shame but none are nearly as nice as Realdownloader. I'll give another go next weekend. Blooming nusciance.
