RealPlayer Downloader Not Working On Youtube

Has YouTube changed the program code ? Because like the poster above I have trouble downloading videos from YouTube since say 2 or 3 days on my dutch Windows 7 system. Or is my GOOGLE Chrome browser (v109.......) to blame ?  I get the same error message ("Unable to download"). I have to try several times downloading a video before RP is able to download the video requested. Seems I have to "convince" RP or YouTube before I am able to download videos.

When I downloaded a video from YT RP created an *.srt file in the folder where the video was placed. That *.srt file was no longer created since say 1 or 2 weeks.

The same issue.. real player support website says "issue resolved" update the video downloader, but even after doing all that, still unable to download. The update fixed nothing...

That message has been up for many months -- it was put up after a previous issue, and left there ever since.

Forum based support like the one we have here is the cheapest and requires very little resources, but they don't seem to be able to do even this much correctly -- for one messages like the one posted at the top in red background should include a date, so users will know if it's still relevant, or it's some old issue that no longer applies.

    1. They should put up a message with a date stating that they know the issue and (hopefully) working on it.

    2. When there is a solution, they should put up up another *dated* message on what to do and how to solve it.

    3. Once they are no longer applicable (maybe a month or two) they should delete those messages.

    That's pretty much it....

I'm experiencing the same errors on both my laptop and PC, which rules out a Windows 11 issue. It seems like the downloads are failing possibly due to the fact that they haven't been tested by RealNetworks. Since my system clock is auto-synced with Microsoft, that might be playing a role in causing the problem. I’ve included screenshots for better context, and I would appreciate any insights or suggestions. Visit this site: Pinterest video downloader free

Indeed, some videos fail to be downloaded. I have a similar problem. E.g. this video refuses to be downloaded: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEOFqqeOsvw on my dutch Windows 7 system with Chrome v109.

    But e.g. this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaQwwN1VBa4 ) or this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x91KK36d1bg ) can be downloaded without a problem.
