no downloads from Utube and burning cd's arent downloading properly.

I use to be able to download from utube, now I can't. Also what burns I try to do on Real, they do not burn right now. I use to see the track being downloaded and now I don't. It says burn complete very fast but it is not. there is no songs on them when I try to burn a CD-R. Why? they always did and I'm not doing anything different. Please help.!!!!!! I use a laptop. I have reinstalled twice and used the link to update. It says update complete. I'm paying for something I'm not getting. Grrrrrrrrr!!!
