Thanks, but it's not necessary now. I have successfully converted all my unreadable .flv files to mp4 files so I can now view them all Thanks

I tried to convert my .flv video files to mp4 as suggested. The conversion appeared to go OK but the new file was not .mp4 but a .m4a audio file! Still no video
