The "remedy" is posted without any option for additional help. Actually, I don't think anyone is there. It's just a bot that puts up worthless boilerplate.

Downloader still doesn't work. I tried your remedy four times, two laptops
So, I'm giving up. I found a YouTube Downloader that works just fine.

Downloader still not working for me
I ran through you instructions for resetting IE and activating the laest version of downloader in Chrome. I did this twice, after checking to make sure that I had copied the instructions correctly...
