Right I have re-installed Real Player, I have noticed the icon in my system tray is no longer grey and now shows blue and white. I am now able to download from other sites but still not YouTube. ...

Should add, I downloaded YTD trial version and it allows downloads so its not the website or my PC, it seems to be the software.
