Real player has stopped working

I'm running windows 8.1

Untill two days ago Real player was working OK. Downloaded a couple of videos re played them and now Real player has stoped working

  the same thing happened to me, i am running windows 7, up to 4-5 days ago, real player was working fine, then suddenly it stopped working, when i tried to start it, up comes the real player wndow, 1/2 way thru it has an error message that "real player has stopped working"............then it shuts off shuts off! i have dleted the program and re-installed real player w/ the same results, it never completes to the library window w/o shutting off, tek
