Can't play web videos

Can't play web videos. Screen goes to black and nothing happens. I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled with the latest software, but no help.

I am running Windows 7 and my default browser is Google Chrome.

  Please clear cookies in your Internet Explorer. Web Videos uses Internet Explorer properties.
