Brand New Burning a DVD always unsuccessful !!!

I am following the instructions given and right before the burner is finishing the last clip to the disk, everything stops and a 'General Error' is posted. I mean what the heck is that??? I tried 10 times and all 10 times it stops right before the end. Should I uninstall/ reinstall realplayer? Its practically brand new to begin with...l

  You may receive such an error if the file you are burning is not compatible with RealPlayer burn or the disk is not compatible.

  Can you please use RealConverter and convert the file to MP4 and then try burning? Also, what kind of DVD disks are you using?

  I am trying to burn 4 files. 2 are MP4 and 2 are 'Realplayer converted to HD'. The disk I am using is DVD+R. My PC is a HP Pavillion all in one and I am using Windows 10. Thank you for responding and trying to help, I appreciate it!
